The Birth Date Pool - May 2009 (CANCELLED DUE TECHNOLOGICAL DIFFICULTIES)
It's that time of the year again... another birth date pool.
As everyone well knows, Mindy is due to give birth to our baby girl at the end of this month. We have yet to decide on a name but her current name is "Anara." (We had to call her something before she was born).
Interesting and relevant facts to help you with your picks:
May 30th is Anara's due date. Connor arrived the day after his due date but, Mindy did begin labor the evening before. Rumor has is that the second child arrives sooner than the first (for what that is worth).
Anara is in proper position (head down). Mindy did experience some minor Braxton-Hicks (fake contractions) about two weeks agao, but nothing since. Mindy pregnancy has been uncomplicated and there is no indication that she will go either early or late. The doctors report that everything is normal. The next full moon is June 7th. Connor was born on May 25th.
Time is short on this one (sorry for the late posting but things have been busy as of late). That said, eligible picks must be posted here before 1.) 11:59 p.m., May 24, 2009 or 2.) Anara's actual birth, whichever is sooner. Therefore, you can increase your odds by waiting, but than you risk the possibility of being too late. Your call.
For historical purposes: Past champions include Simon (for Rachel in 2002), Sean (for Brian in 2006), and Sean or Tucker (Connor 2007). My memory may be fuzzy on the winner for Connor 2007. Somebody please correct me.
The usual terms and conditions apply: $5.00 per person, per guess. Multiple, unlimited bets by any one person is allowed. Whoever chooses the closest date and time to Anara’s actual birth wins the pot. Ties will be split evenly amongst the winners. Include your name, the predicted date and time of Anara’s birth in your comment. The deadline for submitting guesses is May 24, 2007 at 11:59PM or Anara's actual birth, whichever is sooner. MESSAGE:
CGAS 2009 News: CGAS will take place this year from July 23rd - July 26th in Stowe, Vermont at Potatoes Acres International Spa and Resort (now owned by American International Group, Inc.). However, the traditional fireworks display will be under new management as the legal and medical bills are still outstanding from last year's debacle. Please know that all defendants and fact witnesses from last year's incident will be deposed by local counsel during this year's CGAS since all relevant parties will conveniently be located in one place. That said, please be sure to bring your respective legal representatives as separate accommodations for legal counsel will be provided.
